From January 2021,  the editor of JNZL is Alice Te Punga Somerville. Alice is based at the Faculty of Māori and Indigenous Studies/ Te Pua Wānanga ki te Ao at the University of Waikato.

The process is underway to take the journal fully online/ open access, and your patience is requested as this work is carried out over 2021.

A special issue of the journal will be launched in mid-year; from June 2021, submissions on any aspect of New Zealand literature will be welcome for the 2021 general issue. Read more about submissions…
